Huawei Application Security Gateways NIP5000 intrusion detection system NIP5200D-DC-01 has 4GE(RJ45)+4GE Combo(RJ-45/SFP),4G Memory and 2 DC Power supplies and also includes 12 Months Knowledge Base Update Service. Huawei NIP5200D-DC-01 is designed for large enterprises, vertical industry and carrier customers. The system can locate network threats and traffic that does not comply with security policies and provide specific and effective countermeasures to achieve an integrated solution that incorporates protection, detection, and response.

The NIP IDS incorporates multiple new-generation detection technologies to protect customer networks in line with the product concept of "comprehensive detection, accurate analysis, and multi-dimensional report”. The NIP system has multiple sophisticated detection technologies to detect known and unknown threats:

·Uses intelligent protocol identification technology to automatically identify applications and protocols without manual port settings;
·Uses vulnerability-based and signature-based detection technologies to identify known attacks, such as vulnerability exploits, worms, and Trojan horses, in real time;
·Uses the protocol and traffic anomaly detection and heuristic detection technologies to identify unknown vulnerability exploits and malware attacks.
