The MA5811S-AE16 with an IP protection level of IP55 can be installed on a pole or mounted to a concrete wall. The MA5811S-AE16 is temperature-hardened and waterproof. Therefore, it can work normally in harsh outdoor environments.

In the upstream direction, the MA5811S-AE16 connects to the IP network using GPON/XG-PON/GE/10GE optical ports. In the downstream direction, the MA5811S-AE16 provides the access service for G.fast users.
