With eight throughput models (from 50 Mbps to 1.25 Gbps) and up to 12 available ports to support mixed media, the Cisco FirePOWER 7000 Series enables you to deploy security appliances based on network link and organizational use case requirements.

Mixed-Media Support Through Small Form-Factor Pluggable Technology

While other Cisco FirePOWER 7000 Series Appliances provide fixed connectivity (either copper or fiber), the Cisco FirePOWER 7115 and 7125 appliances support mixed-media capabilities in 12 available ports - 4 copper configurable-bypass ports and 8 non-bypass Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) socket ports. This mixed-media and increased port density easily integrate with your existing network environment and allow you to address more network configurations with a single device.

The Cisco FirePOWER 7000 Series Appliances perfectly complement the higher-throughput Cisco FirePOWER 8000 Series Appliances.
