It is very common to forget your router password as you are normally advised to change the password when you first set up TP- Link router and you dont really need to access the TP-Link router options anymore when youve finished configuring it.  It is quite troublesome when you forget the router password as important information such as the password for your wireless connection and your ISP username/ password for the internet connection is saved in the TP-Link router only. It is not very hard to reset TP- Link Router Password.  This blog will guide you how to recover TP- Link router password if you forgot your TP-Link router login password.

There are two ways to reset TP- Link Router Password:

The Second method is the Hard Resetting of the Router

Another method is to reset the TP- Link Router back to its factory settings.  Your only recourse is to use a paperclip or any other sharp object to rest your TP- Link router to its factory details. To reset it, use a bent paperclip to press the restart button on the back of your router for about 10 seconds.  Your router lights will start blinking to confirm the factory reset. Now, you can use the default Username and Password of your TP Link Router to log into its Web configuration screen. Once you are in, make sure to change the password to something unique and save it someplace safe.

The disadvantage in hard resetting a router to its default factory settings is that you will have to reconfigure everything such as internet connection, custom firewall settings dynamic DNS, remote management, MAC address fittings and all.
