Can you use a fiber optic cable for RJ-45?

The RJ45 cable is a standard cable which has four twisted pairs of colors. It is easy to crimp a RJ45 cable and make it into a straight cable or cross the cable as required. To make a straight cable, the ends must be crimped in the same way at each end. When making a crossover cable, some wires of certain colors have to be reversed.

We can’t use rj45 for optical fiber, because rj45 is used only for lan wire cable, and this cable is made of untwisted pair cable, also called utp. There are 8 or 6 different colour coded utp inside one cable, and data is electrically converted in lan wire while optical fibre is made of si(glass) and in which light travels, light directly can’t interface to any pc, it need to be converted in electrical signal.
