SRBD

SRBD (Short-Range Bi-Directional) is a type of 100G optical transceiver module, designed for short-distance, high-speed data transmission over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Utilizing bidirectional technology, SRBD modules enable duplex communication over a single pair of fibers, reducing cabling complexity and cost in modern data centers.

SRBD transceivers are typically based on the QSFP28 form factor and support 100G Ethernet transmission. Compared to traditional SR4 modules, SRBD offers a more efficient alternative for short-range connections, especially when fiber availability is limited.
