A user’s question: “Can C9500-12Q use 10Gb SFP+ transceivers?”
The "C9500-12Q"does not support these transceivers, since it has no uplinks for 10G SFP.
Nevertheless the C9500-40X and C9500-48X can, in fact the Cisco Catalyst 9500 series support optional network modules for uplink ports only on 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches that has 40-ports. Thus the 12 is excluded.
