    Cisco WS-X6824-SFP-2T Overview

    WS-X6824-SFP-2T is integrated with 24-port SFP fiber Gigabit Ethernet interface module with WS-F6K-DFC4-E daughter card for 6500 E-series with supervisor 2T only. Equipped with WS-F6K-DFC4-E daughter card, WS-X6824-SFP-2T ensures to deliver optimal performance up to a sustained 60Mpps for layer 2, IPV4 and MPLS forwarding, and makes this module ideally suited for high performance enterprise, Service provider distribution, core layer, data-center and Metro Ethernet applications. The 24-port module has one 20G fabric connection while the other new modules have two 20G fabric connections (for 40G total bandwidth).
