Mellanox SN2700 proporciona la plataforma de conmutación de 100 GbE de mayor densidad y más predecible para las crecientes demandas de los centros de datos actuales. El conmutador SN2700 es una plataforma basada en ONIE (Entorno de instalación de red abierta) que admite una multitud de sistemas operativos, además de utilizar las ventajas de Open Ethernet y las capacidades de Mellanox Spectrum ASIC.

El SN2700 tiene tres modos de operación:
– Preinstalado con Mellanox Onyx (sucesor de MLNX-OS Ethernet), un sistema operativo desarrollado internamente que utiliza experiencias de usuario de redes comunes y CLI estándar de la industria.
– Preinstalado con Cumulus Linux, un sistema operativo revolucionario que lleva la experiencia del usuario de Linux de los servidores a los conmutadores y brinda una rica funcionalidad de enrutamiento para aplicaciones a gran escala.
– Provisto de una imagen desnuda de ONIE lista para ser instalada con el mencionado u otros sistemas operativos basados en ONIE.

El conmutador SN2700 es una solución ideal para la columna vertebral y la parte superior del bastidor (ToR), que permite la máxima flexibilidad, con velocidades de puerto que van desde 10 Gb/s hasta 100 Gb/s por puerto y una densidad de puerto que permite una conectividad de bastidor completa a cualquier servidor a cualquier velocidad . Los puertos de enlace ascendente permiten una variedad de relaciones de bloqueo que se adaptan a cualquier requisito de aplicación. Alimentado por Spectrum ASIC y equipado con 32 puertos que funcionan a 100 GbE, el SN2700 tiene un enorme rendimiento de 6,4 Tb/s con una capacidad de procesamiento histórica de 4,76 Bpps en un factor de forma compacto de 1RU.
