With dual-concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, 2x2 MU-MIMO with OFDMA, and support for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, the MR36-HW is built to handle dense client environments and real-time applications such as voice and video. Cloud-based management via the Cisco Meraki dashboard simplifies configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for distributors, small and midsize integrators, and IT teams, reducing on-site labor and speeding up rollouts.

The MR36-HW offers an aggregate data rate of up to 1.7 Gbps across both bands, supported by integrated omni-directional antennas that provide consistent indoor coverage without external antenna planning. It can serve up to 1,000 simultaneous clients, making it suitable for high-density classrooms, open-plan offices, and public areas. Power is supplied via 802.3af PoE (Class 3) or an optional 12 V DC adapter, giving flexibility for different wiring conditions in new builds and retrofit projects.
