1000BASE-ZX SFP para fibras monomodo de largo alcance

El SFP 1000BASE-ZX funciona en tramos de enlace de fibra óptica monomodo estándar de hasta aproximadamente 70 km de longitud. El SFP proporciona un presupuesto de enlace óptico de 21 dB, pero la longitud precisa del tramo del enlace depende de múltiples factores, como la calidad de la fibra, la cantidad de empalmes y los conectores.

Cuando se utilizan distancias más cortas de fibra monomodo (SMF), puede ser necesario insertar un atenuador óptico en línea en el enlace para evitar sobrecargar el receptor.
