El controlador HPE Smart Array P816i-a SR Gen10, compatible con SAS de 12 Gb/s y PCIe 3.0, es ideal para maximizar el rendimiento al mismo tiempo que admite niveles RAID avanzados con caché de escritura respaldada por flash (FBWC) de 4 GB. Este controlador opera en modo mixto que combina operaciones RAID y HBA simultáneamente. Tiene 16 carriles SAS internos, lo que permite la conexión de hasta 16 unidades SAS o SATA sin necesidad de la tarjeta de expansión SAS, lo que proporciona conectividad punto a punto a SSD para una latencia más baja.
