Com uma configuração completa, o ViewPoint 8660 pode suportar simultaneamente até 1.024 terminais a uma taxa de 2 Mbps, o que o torna ideal para operadoras de telecomunicações, grandes empresas, governos e provedores de serviços de videoconferência.
O Huawei ViewPoint 8660 vem com uma plataforma de hardware de malha completa de ponta, barramento de backplane de alta velocidade e um design de subplaca de camada dupla. Seu sistema operacional integrado em tempo real protege efetivamente o sistema de videoconferência contra vírus e ataques maliciosos. O design totalmente confiável permite o hot backup da fonte de alimentação, comutação ativa/standby dos módulos principais (módulos de serviço, módulos de sinalização, placa de controle principal, chips e portas de rede), backup automático de linhas (IP/4E1/E1), e funções de compartilhamento de carga e hot swappable das placas, garantindo assim a operação 24 horas por dia (7*24 horas) e estável do serviço de videoconferência.
