Construído com o dispositivo de switch Mellanox Quantum InfiniBand, o QM8700 fornece até quarenta portas de 200 Gb/s, com largura de banda bidirecional total por porta. Esses switches autônomos são a escolha ideal para conectividade de folha de topo de rack ou para a construção de clusters de tamanho pequeno a extremamente grande.

O QM8700 é o switch de rede mais inteligente do mundo, projetado para permitir a computação na rede por meio da tecnologia Co-Design Scalable Hierarchical Aggregation and Reduction Protocol (SHARP)™. A arquitetura Co-Design permite o uso de todos os dispositivos ativos do data center para acelerar as estruturas de comunicação usando hardware integrado, resultando em melhorias de desempenho de aplicativos de ordem de magnitude.
