É um adaptador PCIe v3.0 x8 de porta dupla de baixo custo e baixo consumo de energia projetado para servidores HPE ProLiant. O HPE 562SFP+ atende às exigentes necessidades do data center de última geração, fornecendo recursos incomparáveis para virtualização e escalabilidade que complementam a plataforma de servidor HPE. O HPE 562SFP+ vem com suportes de baixo perfil e padrão e tem duas gaiolas SFP+ que permitem conexões com DACs, bem como módulos de fibra óptica SR. O adaptador HPE 562SFP+ oferece suporte a SR-IOV e recursos de rede de alto desempenho, como marcação de VLAN, interrupções de baixa latência, descarregamento de soma de verificação TCP e UDP, MSI-X, NIC teaming (bonding), Receive Side Scaling (RSS), jumbo frames e PXE bota.
