La plate-forme de commutation Cisco Nexus® 9500 (Figure 1) offre trois options modulaires : le commutateur Cisco Nexus 9504 avec 4 emplacements, le commutateur Cisco Nexus 9508 avec 8 emplacements et le commutateur Cisco Nexus 9516 avec 16 emplacements. Les trois commutateurs utilisent le même superviseur, le même contrôleur système et les mêmes alimentations. La gamme Cisco Nexus 9500 se compose de commutateurs Ethernet non bloquants de couches 2 et 3 avec une bande passante de fond de panier allant jusqu'à 115,2 térabits par seconde (Tbit/s).
